Extract MCQs from Medical Textbooks
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have several medical textbooks, each roughly 350 pages, and I need every multiple-choice question they contain transferred into an editable Word document. the corresponding answers (with explanations) usually appear on different pages. Your task is to locate each question, pair it with its correct answer and the textbook’s original explanation, then present everything in a clean, organized file.
What the finished file should look like
• The questions appear in the order they do in the book.
• Immediately beneath each question: the correct answer, followed by the explanation exactly as written in the text.
• A topic tag (cardiology, pharmacology, etc.) plus a brief citation of the source book and page etc.. so every item is traceable.
Working format
– One Word (.docx) document per book.
– No formatting frills are required beyond clear headings or styles that make the questions, answers, and explanations easy to scan.
– If an explanation is missing in the source, leave the space blank and flag it so I can decide how to handle it later.
Quality expectations
Accuracy matters more than speed; option letters, wording, and explanations must match the original text precisely. Feel free to use OCR tools such as ABBYY or Tesseract-based workflows for efficiency, but proof-read the output before submission.
Workflow
We will start with a single book as sample (about 250 pages) for validation. Once that is approved, continue with the remainder of the books; payment is on a per-book basis.
