Portfolio Website Design
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
Im looking to have a website designed to showcase our business. Our core business is SIGNAGE. This includes, vehicle graphics, wall prints, shopfront signs, illuminated sign, reception signs etc.
The main reason for having this website is to qualify our business to prospective clients. We want our clients to be impressed both by the work that we do & the way it's represented on our website.
We currently have a website which is not effective. Once the new website is built, we will also need your assistance to switch the old website off & the new one on.
We have commissioned a graphic artist to design a cartoon style graphic for us, to use on the new website. ( see file attached )
It has been created in layers, so that components of the 'artwork' can be used throughout the website. A lot of the signage that we manufacture is of a corporate nature and quite 'serious'...so we wanted to have a cartoon illustration within the website that adds some fun & humor back into the business of signage.
We are looking for the winner of this job to be skilled in the use of Illustrator and have an artistic flair to help work this Illustration onto the website.
I have got in mind the idea of having all of the photos of our work 'muted', until you hover over them or click on them, revealing the full colour image. There are two ideas behind this. 1) That our company logo & cartoon design will stand out and have great impact, particularly given its vector line work and bold colours, which I think has a create feel. 2) By muting the photo examples, they wont compete with each other.
