Nonfiction Book Editing for Online Publication
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for one experienced editor to prepare a 90,000-word nonfiction book for Amazon KDP and Gumroad publication.
This is not a religious book. It contains critical perspectives on organized religion, theology, and belief systems. If you are personally offended by ideas such as “Jesus is not God” or similar philosophical positions, this project is not a good fit. I am looking for a professional, neutral editor, not ideological feedback.
What I need:
• Line editing + copy editing (clarity, flow, grammar, tone)
• Language softening where necessary to avoid automated platform flags (Amazon KDP compliance)
• Ensure the manuscript is platform-safe, not censored or rewritten
• Final manuscript ready for upload (DOCX for KDP, EPUB if possible but not required)
Very important boundaries:
• DO NOT move, remove, or relocate visual elements
• Images, back matter, and structure are locked
• This is not developmental editing
• No restructuring, no added content, no moral commentary
Deliverables:
• Clean, edited manuscript (DOCX)
• Minor notes only where wording may trigger platform moderation
• Optional: basic formatting check for KDP (headings, spacing)

• Preference for editors outside the U.S./UK who are experienced but affordable
