Newsletter & Blog Content Specialist
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I’m lining up a long-term freelance partner to take the lead on our written content. The engagement will run 6–12 months and averages three to four assignments each month, so reliability and the ability to hit steady deadlines are essential.
The top priority is our email newsletter. Each edition must educate and inform our audience in a casual, friendly voice while still sounding authoritative. Beyond the newsletter, I’ll assign companion blog posts, short brand-story pieces, and the occasional copy-editing pass on existing material to keep our tone consistent across channels.
What I’ll hand you:
• A clear brief for every piece—topic, key points, and any research links.
• Brand guidelines that outline our voice, audience, and do/don’t words.
What I expect back:
• Polished, publication-ready copy delivered on or before the agreed date.
• Headlines, sub-heads, and short preview text that invite opens and clicks.
• Light proofreading of any quoted stats or references to ensure accuracy.
Turnaround is usually five business days per task, though you’ll have a calendar of upcoming topics well in advance. If you have questions along the way, I’m quick to answer; collaboration matters more to me than cranking out words in isolation.
Please share two or three recent newsletter or blog samples that show you can teach or explain a concept without sounding stiff. I’ll shortlist writers this week and kick off the first assignment right after.
