My 68,000-word fiction story is ready for a translation verification, in French - by a native speaker, non AI, that also smooths out layout and presentation. I need spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence-level clarity refined while preserving the voice and pacing of the narrative. Alongside the language polish, please bring the manuscript into consistent, professional book formatting—standard margins, paragraph indents, dialogue treatment, chapter headings, and any other conventions that make the file press-ready.

I work in MS Word. When you are done, I expect two files: one marked-up with all edits visible, and one clean, publication-ready version. If you naturally follow Chicago style that’s fine; the key is that the final text reads smoothly and looks like any traditionally formatted paperback.
