Italian Children’s Story Editing

I have a 9,000-word Italian manuscript for readers aged 6–10 that needs a full story and language edit. The draft is playful and light-hearted, but I want to be sure every page:

• flows smoothly,
• keeps rhythm and tone engaging,
• stays perfectly age-appropriate.

Key themes—friendship and cooperation, overcoming challenges, and creativity and imagination—should remain clear and compelling throughout.

The job goes beyond proofreading. I’m looking for structural feedback, tightening of scenes, sharper dialogue, and adjustments that enhance pacing without losing the voice. Line edits for clarity, concision, and consistent vocabulary are also part of the scope.

Deliverables:
1. Mark-up of the manuscript with tracked changes and in-line comments.
2. A brief editorial letter (1–2 pages) explaining major suggestions and narrative fixes.
3. A clean, ready-to-illustrate version after revisions.

Please attach or link to samples of prior work on children’s or educational texts in Italian so I can gauge fit. Familiarity with picture-book cadence or early reader chapter books is a plus. I’m aiming for a collaborative process and welcome one round of follow-up questions after you return the edited file.
