Freelance Book Editor & Formatter Needed (Spanish) – Spanish Book Ready for Amazon KDP / Traditional Publishing + Future English Translation
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
I’m looking for an experienced freelance editor and book formatter to work on my finished manuscript in Spanish (fiction / non-fiction – I’ll specify the genre with the chosen candidate).
Scope of the project (Phase 1 – immediate):
Thorough proofreading and copyediting in Spanish (grammar, spelling, style, consistency, fluency).
Professional interior layout / book formatting for both:
Print (PDF ready for Amazon KDP and IngramSpark)
eBook (EPUB and MOBI validated)
Creation of table of contents, chapter headings, scene breaks, etc., with a clean and modern design.
Deliver final files 100% ready to upload to Amazon KDP or to submit to traditional publishers.
Future Phase 2 (separate budget, a few months later):
Full professional translation of the book from Spanish into English (US or EnglishUK (your choice, as long as it’s native-level and publication-ready).
Requirements:
Native or fully bilingual Spanish speaker with proven publishing experience.
Strong portfolio of published books you have edited and/or formatted (please share links or samples).
Expert knowledge of Amazon KDP and IngramSpark technical requirements.
Experience with Vellum, InDesign, or Atticus (or equivalent professional tools).
Excellent communication and respect for deadlines.
