Fiction Dialogue Line Edit

You’ll receive my fiction manuscript in Word and give the dialogue a rigorous line edit while preserving its serious tone. Whenever a line sounds stiff, repetitive, or slips out of character—especially for the protagonist—please flag it and suggest a smoother alternative right in Track Changes. Beyond dialogue, feel free to leave margin comments on anything distracting such as awkward phrasing, tense shifts, overused words, or small continuity slips. I’m not after broader developmental notes on pacing or character arcs; this pass is strictly at the sentence and word level.

Deliverables
• A clean copy with all corrections accepted.
• A Track-Changes file showing every edit, with concise comments where helpful.
• A brief memo (about one page) that sums up recurring issues you spotted and patterns I should watch for in future drafts.

Files will come in .docx, so please be comfortable editing in Microsoft Word with Track Changes turned on. Turnaround time and any clarifying questions can be settled once you’ve had a quick look at the manuscript’s length.
