I’ve completed a heartfelt family story and now need a fresh, professional set of eyes to bring it to a publish-ready standard. I will provide the finished manuscript as a Word document; your job is to hunt down every grammar slip, punctuation miss, and awkward sentence, then smooth tone and flow so the narrative feels consistent from the first page to the last.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• A line-by-line proofread with Track Changes on, flagging spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.
• Style and tone harmonisation wherever wording feels uneven or repetitive.
• Light fact-sense checking—if something appears historically or chronologically off, please highlight it for me.
• A clean, final copy once all edits are approved.
I’d also value a brief editorial memo (one-page max) summarising any recurring issues you noticed and offering high-level suggestions for future drafts.
