Editing required on story books
Budget: €6 – €12 EUR
I have a completed storybook manuscript that reads well in places but still needs a professional polish. I’m looking for a copy editor who can correct grammar, syntax, and consistency while also flagging—or lightly reshaping—areas where the character development or overall plot structure feels thin.
The narrative should keep its friendly, conversational tone throughout, so every change needs to sound natural rather than formal or stiff. I value clear tracked changes and concise margin notes that explain the “why” behind major edits, especially when they touch motivation arcs or pacing.
Deliverables I’d like back:
• A Word file with tracked changes and clean version
• A brief editorial memo (1-2 pages) outlining character and plot observations, plus any recurring style points you noticed
