I have a completed fiction manuscript of under 20,000 words that is already laid out for Kindle. Before I publish, I want a fresh editorial eye on it. Your remit is two–fold: first, a meticulous proofread that catches every grammar, punctuation, and spelling slip; second, a light-to-moderate content edit that tightens structure and flow without changing my voice.

You’ll work in Microsoft Word using Track Changes so I can review every adjustment. Alongside the marked-up file, I’d like a clean version ready for upload and a short editorial memo highlighting any larger-scale issues you notice—pacing snags, character consistency, or places where the narrative could breathe better.

Because this is a concise piece, I expect the turnaround to be efficient yet thorough. If you have prior experience polishing fiction for Kindle and are comfortable balancing technical accuracy with storytelling finesse, I’m eager to collaborate.
