I have a manuscript of original poems written for children and I’m ready for a careful, professional proofread before I share them with parents, teachers, and young readers. I’ll supply the poems in an editable file; your job is to comb through every line for slip-ups in spelling, grammar, and punctuation, flag anything that feels out of rhythm or out of place for a young audience, and make sure the tone stays warm and consistent from start to finish.
Please return two files at the end:
• a version with all edits visible through Track Changes, so I can see exactly what you adjusted
• a clean, publication-ready copy
A background in children’s literature or poetry will be a real plus, but a sharp editorial eye and genuine care for language suitable for kids are what matter most.
