12-Chapter Fiction Proofreading Feedback

I have just finished drafting the first twelve chapters of my adult-targeted fiction novel and now need a fresh professional eye on the manuscript. What I’m after is a combined proofread and developmental check.

You will:
• Correct every grammar, spelling, and punctuation slip.
• Flag anything that disrupts narrative flow or feels inconsistent with the plot.
• Highlight where character motivations ring false, timelines clash, or pacing drags.

The manuscript will arrive in Microsoft Word. Please use Track Changes for all edits and add concise margin comments where explanations help. A short wrap-up note (one-to-two paragraphs) at the end of each chapter summarising bigger issues or strengths will let me spot patterns quickly.

Deliverables
• Word file with all edits in Track Changes
• Clean file with changes accepted
• Chapter-by-chapter notes on flow, consistency, and character development
