Business Book Proofread & POD Setup
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My business book manuscript is finished and now needs a meticulous proofread before it goes out into the world. I’m looking for someone who can spot every last typo, punctuation slip, or spacing inconsistency and return a clean, ready-to-upload file.
Once the proofreading pass is complete, I also need help placing the book on a print-on-demand platform. I’m flexible on whether that ends up being Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Lulu, or another viable option—whichever gives the best mix of reach, cost, and ease of use. If you’re comfortable handling the account setup, ISBN acquisition guidance, file formatting tweaks (PDF, EPUB, or the platform’s required template), and the actual upload process, that’s exactly the support I’m after.
Deliverables
• Proofread manuscript returned in Word with tracked changes and a final clean version.
• Print-ready interior and cover files that meet the chosen platform’s specs.
• Successful upload of the title to the POD dashboard, with me listed as the rights holder and all metadata—description, keywords, categories—entered.
• A brief walkthrough or hand-off notes so I can manage reorders and future updates myself.
If this sounds like your wheelhouse, tell me how many business books you’ve shepherded through the proofreading and POD stage, and your estimated turnaround time for each phase.
