Book Retyping: PDF to Word

I have a printed book that I need transcribed verbatim into an editable Microsoft Word document and then exported to PDF. You will receive clear scans of every page; your task is to reproduce the text faithfully, preserve the original hierarchy of headings, and insert the few included images in roughly the same positions they appear in print.

Accuracy and consistency matter more than sheer speed, but I do need the finished, proof-read Word file (plus the matching PDF) back within 3 days of accepting the project. Please keep margins, page breaks, italics, bold, and any footnotes exactly as they are in the source.

Deliverables
• Clean .docx file mirroring the printed layout
• Embedded images at original size and location
• Exported PDF that matches the Word file content

I will check for typo-free text and layout fidelity before releasing payment, so a quick self-proof pass is essential. If you are comfortable working in Microsoft Word and can turn around high-quality copy quickly, this should be a straightforward job.
