Australian Manuscript Proofreading Needed
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
My fiction manuscript is ready for its final polish and I need an eagle-eyed proofreader who works naturally in Australian English. The task is strictly copy-editing: tidy the grammar, fix punctuation slips, catch any spelling inconsistencies and smooth out sentence-level bumps so the voice stays clear and engaging. I’m not looking for developmental notes on plot or character—those elements are locked in—so your attention can stay on technical accuracy and readability.
Please work in Microsoft Word with Track Changes active so every amendment is visible. At hand-over I’d like:
• A marked-up Word file showing all edits
• A clean, final version ready to send to agents and publishers
• A short style sheet summarising key decisions (capitalisation, hyphenation, preferred spellings, etc.)
If you have a background in line-editing fiction and a solid grasp of Australian spelling and punctuation conventions, I’d love to see examples of previous work and hear how quickly you could turn this around.
