WordPress Redesign for Dog Services
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for an experienced WordPress developer to properly rebuild and upgrade my existing website so it is faster, ranks better locally, and converts visitors into paying customers.
This is not a cosmetic refresh. I want a clean, professional, high-performing site built the right way.
The site promotes a local business offering:
Dog boarding
Grooming
Kennel services
Everything in the design should make pet owners feel confident and guide them clearly toward booking or contacting us.
Key Requirements:
1. Clear Service Focus
Dog boarding, grooming, and kennel services must be:
Immediately visible
Easy to understand
Prominently featured on all devices
2. Conversion-Focused Design
Strong, obvious calls-to-action
Simple booking/contact flow
Trust-building elements (reviews, photos, credibility)
Clean, uncluttered layout
3. Speed & Performance
Fast load times (target: ~2 seconds or better)
PageSpeed Insights in the green
Core Web Vitals passing
Proper image optimization, caching, and clean code
4. SEO (Local Focus)
Proper on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, headings)
Local SEO targeting Foothills County / near Spruce Meadows (not just Calgary)
Schema markup, internal linking, and solid page structure
5. WordPress Build Quality
Built in WordPress (Elementor, Beaver Builder, or clean custom theme)
Must be lightweight and not bloated
Easy for me to edit and maintain going forward
6. Tracking & Tools
Maintain or properly reconnect Google Analytics and Search Console
SEO plugin setup (Yoast or Rank Math) with proper structure
Deliverables:
Fully redesigned, mobile-friendly website
Speed optimization with before/after results
SEO improvements across core pages
Conversion-focused homepage and service pages
Simple handover instructions so I can update content myself

Someone who understands performance + SEO + conversions (not just design)
Clear communication and practical recommendations
