WooCommerce GA4 eCommerce Tracking
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
My WordPress store runs on WooCommerce and I already have a basic GA4 tag firing for general traffic. What’s missing is the full eCommerce configuration so I can clearly see how well the shop converts.
The main metric I care about is Conversion Rate, and I want to follow three key journeys inside every report:
• Product page → checkout
• Add to cart → purchase
• Landing page → purchase
Here’s what I need delivered:
1. Configure GA4 (via Google Tag Manager or gtag, whichever is cleaner) to capture all standard WooCommerce events—view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, purchase, etc.—with the correct parameters.
2. Build funnel explorations in GA4 that reflect the three paths above and surface drop-off points.
3. Verify data consistency by running a few test orders and reconciling totals with WooCommerce.
4. Provide a short hand-off note or screen-share walkthrough so I can maintain the setup.
If you have experience mapping WooCommerce data layers to GA4’s Enhanced Measurement and debugging with Tag Assistant, this should be straightforward. I’m ready to add you to Tag Manager and GA4 as soon as we agree on the approach.
