VAPI to GoHighLevel API Integration – Call Flow & Appointment Booking

We are looking for a skilled developer with experience in VAPI API and GoHighLevel API integration.
Project Overview:
We have a VAPI AI assistant already built. The call flow works as follows:
Caller Interaction
AI asks for address or tracking number.
To proceed, both must be provided.
This information must be captured and posted into GoHighLevel.
Sales Pitch & Appointment Scheduling
After the sales pitch, the AI schedules an appointment.
Required appointment fields: Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone Number.
Check GoHighLevel calendar availability before booking.
Post confirmed appointment to the calendar.
Create a new Opportunity in GoHighLevel.
Send a notification to our team/employers.
Workflow Requirements
Press 1 to speak to a live agent.
Press 9 to be removed from the list.
Current Status:
VAPI assistant is already built.
Direct GoHighLevel integration is not working as expected due to outdated documentation.
We’ve seen this done using Railway + n8n workflows (two workflows: one to capture initial caller info, another to capture appointment details).
What We Need:
Fix or rebuild the GoHighLevel integration.
Ensure proper data capture and posting for both the initial info and appointment booking stages.
Confirm call flow logic works end-to-end with VAPI, GHL, and appointment scheduling.
Preferred Experience:
VAPI API
GoHighLevel API
n8n or similar automation tools
Railway (deployment environment) or other
Experience with call workflows and data syncing
