Individual CRO Specialist Needed to Improve Conversion for D2C Ecommerce Website (Not a Developer / Not SEO)
We are a growing Indian D2C food/spice brand with a live WordPress ecommerce website.
The website is functional and is currently undergoing UI/UX and technical improvements separately.
We are now looking for ONE individual CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) specialist to focus only on conversion strategy, buyer psychology, and decision-making.
This role is NOT for: Developers, Full-stack engineers, UI designers, SEO specialists, Agencies or teams,
We are specifically hiring an individual CRO.
Primary Objective -
Increase: Product page conversion rate, Add-to-cart rate, Checkout completion
You will define WHAT should change and WHY.
Execution will be handled by a separate developer.
Scope of Work - You will be responsible for:
Conversion Diagnosis
Identify primary buyer hesitation
Identify trust gaps and friction points
Review homepage, product pages, and checkout flow
Conversion Strategy
Define homepage value proposition
Define above-the-fold messaging
Decide trust signals and their placement
Define product page persuasion order (what appears before price, why)
CRO Decision-Making
Recommend what to test first (hypothesis-driven)
Define success metrics for each change
Review outcomes and iterate
Collaboration
Provide written CRO instructions to the developer
Review implemented changes
Refine based on performance data
