Install Industrial Control Systems

Job ID: 39931318

Budget: £18 – £36 GBP

I’m looking for an electrical workshop technician who can take full responsibility for installing industrial-grade control systems at our plant. The scope centres on Control systems only—no residential or commercial work.

What I need you to do
• Interpret the electrical schematics and wiring diagrams my engineering team supplies.
• Assemble and mount electrical components, relays, and associated field devices.
• Route, label, and terminate both power and signal cabling to our documented standards.
• Carry out continuity, insulation, and functional tests, recording all results for sign-off.
• Work with us during commissioning to troubleshoot and clear any faults until every circuit passes acceptance testing.

Deliverables
1. Fully wired and tested control panels installed in their designated enclosures.
2. Field devices connected and verified.
3. A concise test report plus as-built drawings showing any on-site modifications.

You’ll need proven experience with industrial installations, familiarity with standard workshop tools and testing equipment, and the ability to start soon. Materials and specialised test gear are provided; basic hand tools should come with you.

If this matches your skills, let’s talk dates and get your past project examples.
