Design and Program Thermocouple and Steam PSI data collection, monitoring for small distillery
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I have a small craft distillery and am interested in using thermocouples to monitor temperatures from up to 14 locations 8 to start with. The programmer can select the thermocouples and data collector/transmitter.
Data Display
A monitor will be displayed on the wall of the distillery which will read out the current temperatures of each thermocouple and pressure sensor in larger readable numbers against an image of the equipment.
User App/WebSite
Users can also login to a web page remotely to:
• View current temperature and pressure readings.
• Create load and save different profiles configured allowing for user defined notifications (screen, text, email for determined temperature readings)
Example - Profiles for Vodka, Whiskey, Stripping, Brandy Finishing, Moonshine runs will all have different temperature alerts.
• Users will be able to review pervious run profile data by viewing a graph of readings throughout the run for each device.
• Users will be able to add comments and current output proof reading during a "Run" in underway and each comment.
Nice to Have
• If a device is available, at a reasonable price, which can record spirit proof at the same time it would be desirable. Based on cost.
• Ability to record current Steam pressure (low pressure, 0-15PSI) but very fine numbers below 2 PSI accurate the 1 decimal point.
• Ability to control steam valve based on temperature of specific thermocouples.
System needs to be built in a common language which can be modified and recompiled by a third party programmer to change UI add/remove features etc.
