Budget: $250 – $500 USD
I am seeking a freelancer to help identify and secure high-traffic locations for my vending machine business in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will handle research, outreach, and negotiations to ensure successful placement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead/Location Quality Assessment:
- Confirm business owner interest in hosting vending machines.
- Verify if a machine is already present at the location.
- Assess foot traffic, employee count, hours of operation, electricity access, and available space.
2. Exclusivity & Competition Check:
- Ensure the location is not considering multiple vendors simultaneously.
- Avoid duplicate leads to maintain exclusivity.
3. Contract & Paperwork Management:
- Draft host location agreements covering terms like length, responsibilities, commission/rent, and exit clauses.
- Include finder’s agreement outlining payment terms and conditions for successful placements.
4. Cost Analysis:
- Evaluate upfront vs. ongoing costs (e.g., fees for locked-in locations vs. paper leads).
- Address contingencies if leads do not result in successful placements.
5. Refund/Guarantee Considerations:
- Identify services offering guaranteed placements or refunds where applicable.
6. Reputation & References Check:
- Review feedback from other operators and verify the quality of previous placements.
Deliverables:
• A detailed list of qualified locations with full addresses and key metrics (foot traffic, hours open, etc.).

• Documentation of outreach efforts (emails/call notes) and any signed agreements or expressed interest from hosts.
