Need to get legal waivers/contracts written up for pet sitting services
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I offer the following pet services (pet sitting, day care, home visits, dog walking). Each service might need an individual contract but open to having an All-in-one type of contract/waiver if it's easier.
Also want something that clients only need to sign one time so if they want to book me again in future or have repeat weekly bookings they don't need to sign multiple times.
I want these to include a waiver and also include all my terms and conditions regarding extra fees, charges, cancellation, booking policies etc. I'm struggling to write it all clearly.
I have already got them written up but they feel messy and I'm not sure if they are any good or if there's some holes here or there as I've copied and combined parts of it from the internet.
I don't want to be held liable if anything happens to their pet. I once had a dog slip their collar and run onto the road during a walk, luckily she wasn't hurt. A long time ago a dog also escaped from the yard and was running all over the roads. She almost got hit my a car but got away with only a scrape. Both owners in these situations were understanding and more worried about me than their dog but I know not all owners will be as understanding if something were to happen to their pet.
I've been trying to keep it simple and short enough to fit in one page so that owners are more encouraged to read through it. I'm constantly having small issues about extra charges or cancellations come up making it clear they didn't read the agreement before signing it. But if it needs to be made longer that is okay.
I also need to update all these terms and conditions and policies onto my website. For added reference you can see what's currently shown on my rates page to get a better idea. Policies are at the bottom of the page but needs to be updated.
