Need Real Estate Lien Removal Request Sent to Contractor
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We have a home owned by my deceased mother's estate and a contractor filed a lien on the home for @$35,000 for non-payment. The work was 97% completed on August 12, we received the invoice via email on that date but it was erroneously dated NOVEMBER 2020, and on September 13 they filed a Mechanics Lien. We were never given a Notice of Contract, none was ever filed. The contract we signed was for mitigation and repairs but they never had us to sign a contract with the detailed scope for home repairs. We want them to remove this lien as it could affect the property sale.
