Lawyer for property we bought

We bought the property in October last year and just found out that there had been a flooding from the lake in front of our property, that went to our property and land and private entrance road. Apparently it happened every year. Was never mentioned by the owner and never declared and never stated on the certificate of location. Contacted our real estate agent and she confirmed that she was not aware at all since it had never been declared. We have pictures and old conversations from old fb posts from the neighbour to prove it. As well as witnesses from the neighbours.
