This is regarding a 38' Next Level (built by holiday rambler) toy hauler RV. Valued at time approximately $40,000. Took it into Dave's Trailer for repair to body after accident on road. Initial estimate was around $8000. Insurance paid me $7000, which I signed over to the shop for parts. Location of repair shop is in Ukiah, California. That summer, there was an arsonist in the area causing damage to lots of trailers. Dave's Trailer asked me if I could be patient while they repaired the fire victims trailers. I was nice & said of course. Arsonist continued for 3 more summers before getting caught, so I was asked to hold on. Fine by me, I was going to sell the trailer as I no longer needed it. Well, they drug out repairs until I needed the trailer to move to salem oregon in 2017. They finished everything but the paint when I stopped by the shop to measure the inside of the trailer for moving.. I instantly noticed a foul smell, I thought it's been awhile for the toilet, but I was very wrong. The roof over the master bedroom slide out had leaked under their care, custody, & control. Black mold was in the oak cabinets. They put a new roof on after arguing w my husband that I had had a bad roof put on, but keith showed them it was factory installed on making the trailer. Needless to say, I have continued to call the shop every couple of months asking about my trailer. I always got the run around. Then the other day in the mail I got notice from a lein company that they have the trailer & there is a link on it for the remaining $1000 deductible I know I owe, but also almost $6000 for a new roof too. I'm sure it's still full of mold. I have pictures of before & after the water leak, as well as a letter from the repair shop. They will not speak to me. Sooo, I'm getting charged a daily fee at the lein lot for store so the bill goes up daily. I have my call log to them off this phone so past 2 years. They never informed me that the trailer was ready to go, probably bc its still full of mold. At the shop the repair guys had to wear a respirator mask to go inside & work on it. In the end, nobody communicated to me traler was done, just got collections notice
