Asset purchase of operating auto dealership / repair business
Financed with an SBA 7(a) loan (Pathforward Bank)
Includes assignment of existing commercial lease
Buyer entity will be a newly formed South Carolina LLC (operations remain in NC)
I need a North Carolina-licensed attorney experienced in:
Small-to-midsize business asset purchases
SBA 7(a) loan closings and coordination with lender counsel
Commercial lease assignments / landlord consents
Closing logistics in New Hanover County / Wilmington area
Scope of work (flexible based on proposals):
Coordination with SBA lender’s counsel
Assistance with lease assignment and any required landlord documents
Guidance through closing process and document execution
Looking for practical, efficient counsel who has closed similar transactions. Preference for attorneys comfortable working on a defined project or limited-engagement / hourly basis rather than a full traditional firm representation.
