Playwright TypeScript Automation Upgrade
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have an existing suite of Playwright scripts written in TypeScript that needs a fast, focused tune-up rather than a rewrite. The core framework is solid, but several areas—new page objects, flaky selectors, and a few missing edge-case tests—require attention so the whole pipeline can run reliably in CI.
You will be working directly in the current repository, refactoring where it makes sense, extending coverage, and pushing stable, well-commented code back through pull requests. Because everything is already TypeScript-based, I expect strict typing to stay intact and ESLint rules to keep passing.
Key deliverables
• Updated Playwright tests that cover the new user flows I will outline
• Refactored selectors and helpers to reduce flakiness
• A concise README note or inline comments explaining any significant change
Acceptance criteria
– All modified and new tests pass on the existing GitHub Actions workflow without retries.
– No new TypeScript, lint, or Playwright warnings are introduced.
– Clear commit messages so we can track each change.
If you are comfortable jumping into an active codebase and turning around improvements quickly, let’s get started—speed and code quality are equally important to me.
