I need a Sponsorship Manager
Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD
Job Description
The sponsorship manager will be responsible for the operational success of the desired pipeline of sponsors.
The holder of this role will work essentially bringing new sponsors and building good relations with current sponsors. Onboarding them once the contract is signed, and exploring potential partnerships with companies and other organizations.
Working closely with Corporate Partnerships and recruiters, the post holder will carry out income generation activities, primarily through securing sponsorships and exhibition income for our programs, summit, and events.
Qualifications:
Nice to have, prior experience on non-profit and fundraising
Experience in grant writing (desirable)
Must be a self-starter, proactive and driven, with a strong work ethic and obsessed with meeting deadlines
You must have a high level of motivation and a strong sense of urgency
The ideal candidates will have the ability to work without direct supervision as this is a remote role
Excellent interpersonal communications skills
Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
Public speaking skills
Experience in working in cross-departmental teams or structures to deliver projects.
Able to create and deliver presentations to a range of audiences
Leadership and networking skills
Maintain professional relationships
Organizational skills to maneuver multiple efforts simultaneously
Limited travel requirement
Proficiency in Google Suite - Docs, Sheets, Slides, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Asana, great Email etiquette, etc
Familiar with Salesforce
Ability to analyze data and forecast projections

Outbound Sponsorships pitch and follow-ups
Following up after a pitch meeting
Answering questions and negotiating with new sponsors
Setting up Contracts and/or SOWs (Scope of Work)
Procurement process for new sponsors
Work closely with Customer Success Specialist
Updates Sponsorship tracking
Recruiting Support for members
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
Overview and support all the deliverables we have per sponsor on the SOW (events, blogs, access to talent pool, job posting, newsletters)
Kick-off meeting schedule with new sponsor
Renew sponsorship contracts
Quarterly meetings and with Sponsors
Respond and review emails from our “Info” email address
Respond and schedule meeting with potential sponsors
Reach out to sponsors for Summit and Recruit (pitch meetings and onboarding new sponsors)
Strategically and creatively build a strong long-term pipeline
Meet quarterly revenue goals
Keep track of all companies of potential sponsors
Obtain and follow up for in-kind sponsorships and donations
Research fundraising opportunities
Writing, and submitting grants/fundraising proposals that tailor to sponsor’s needs and goals
