YouTube Scriptwriter for Business/Finance Channel
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
We run a YouTube channel in the business and finance niche — think deep-dive stories on companies, founders, scams, and finance(style similar to MagnatesMedia). We're looking for an experienced freelance researcher + scriptwriter who can independently handle the full pipeline: topic ideation → deep research → high-retention script writing.
We need someone who can dig past the surface-level facts everyone already knows and find the obscure, lesser-known details that make a story feel fresh — even on topics that have already been covered by other channels a hundred times.

What You'll Do
1. Topic Ideation – Suggest new video topics that fit our channel's niche (corporate scandals, business empires, founder stories, financial fraud, brand history) and haven't been overdone by other channels.
2. Deep Research – Go beyond Wikipedia and surface-level sources. Find primary sources, court documents, old interviews, documentaries, lesser-known facts, and specific numbers/quotes that make the story credible and unique.
3. Scriptwriting – Write a full, ready-to-record narration script (typically 4,000–5,500 words / 25–30 minutes runtime) in our channel's tone and structure (details below).

Required Script Style (Important — Read Carefully)
- Tone: Expert narrator — confident, slightly dry/sarcastic, talking to the viewer like a smart friend explaining something wild, not reading a textbook.
- Hook: Must open with an unexpected, specific detail. The first 15–20 seconds decide if the viewer stays.
- Structure: Chronological story arc broken into clear sections — origin story → rise → the twist/turn → the deception/conflict → the collapse → the aftermath → a closing thought that reframes the whole story.
- Characters: Real people in the story should be introduced with specific, vivid details (quotes, physical details, specific numbers) — not just names and titles.
- Retention tools: Include at least one highly quotable/shareable line, ironic callbacks, and rhetorical questions that pull the viewer forward.
- No fluff: No generic filler sentences, no Wikipedia-style listing of facts. Every paragraph should earn its place by building tension or revealing something new.
- Originality requirement: The script must avoid the most commonly known facts/angles already covered by other YouTube channels. We will reject scripts that feel like a rehash of existing videos on the same topic.
