YouTube Health Journey Scriptwriter

Job ID: 39719527

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I’m ready to turn years of doctor visits, setbacks, tiny triumphs, and hard-won lessons into a powerful narrative that resonates with an American audience. My channel’s purpose is simple: sharing personal experiences so viewers see what living through a complex health struggle really feels like and how I’ve navigated it. Here’s where you come in.

We’ll meet (chat, google docs and notion, Zoom, Meet, or your preferred recorder) for structured, journalist-style interviews. You’ll guide me with probing questions, collect my “brain-dump” stories, then shape them into a clear, chronological script that keeps every essential detail yet trims the excess. Each finished piece should read conversationally, hit the emotional beats YouTube’s audience expects, and flow into shorter hooks for Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram.

Long stories will be broken into multiple scripts for shorts while still being pieces of the main story. This creates the ability to share each part of my story in short form video format and long form.

Because medical nuance matters, I value a writer who can translate clinical terms without losing accuracy—or compassion. Experience with viral formats (textual hooks, movie structure: introduction, problem, search for resolution, resolution,) is important. Mild AI tools are fine for polishing wording or smoothing any accent in your speech, but my voice and facts must stay intact.

We’ll iterate together: communicate when our schedules are most confident for each other using q&a, draft, my feedback, final production-ready script. Fluency in American English is essential; please share samples that show medical storytelling or viral video writing so I can hear your narrative style.
