Write Comprehensive Infant Care Textbook
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I am commissioning a complete “how-to” textbook that guides parents and caregivers through every facet of infant care from birth to 30 months. My aim is a professional, formal reference work grounded in the latest evidence-based standards, yet clear enough for non-clinical readers.
Scope of content
The manuscript must weave together medical guidelines from the New Jersey Division of Infant and Maternal Health, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the World Health Organization while expanding into practical day-to-day parenting strategies, developmental milestones, safety protocols, nutrition, sleep, hygiene, and early learning activities. In short, I need all aspects of infant care under one cover.
Preferred background
Experience working directly with the New Jersey Division of Infant and Maternal Health is a strong plus, as familiarity with their regulations will streamline fact-checking. Please note: applicants holding active Civil Service positions or contracting directly with Civil Service agencies cannot be considered for this engagement.
Deliverables
• A fully referenced, professionally formatted manuscript (approx. 60–80k words) in Word and PDF
• An executive summary highlighting key guidelines and milestones
• A citation list in APA style with live links where available
• One round of revisions after my editorial review
Acceptance criteria will include accuracy against the cited guidelines, consistency of tone, and readability for a college-educated lay audience.
Timeline and collaboration details will be finalized with the selected writer; however, my expectation is a first draft within eight weeks of award.
If your blend of authorship expertise and infant-care knowledge matches this brief, I look forward to reading your proposal and relevant samples.
