• Length: keep the final manuscript between 2,000 and 3,000 words.
• Deadline: deliver the polished draft within one month of project start.
• Format: submit in an editable file (DOCX or Google Docs) with standard manuscript formatting—double-spaced, 12-pt serif font, numbered pages.
• Voice & audience: write in fluent, natural English; target an adult general-interest readership.
• Quality bar: compelling plot or concept, strong characterisation, clean structure, free of grammatical or spelling errors.

Deliverables
