Wiki Content Rewriter
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a set of existing wiki pages that have grown dated and word-heavy. Each one must be rewritten so the information is current, the language is simple and neutral, and every claim is properly cited in MediaWiki-friendly markup.
Your rewrite should keep the original structure where it helps readers, merge or trim duplicated sections, and add any missing context you discover from reputable sources. I will supply the current page exports, reference links, and a short checklist that flags paragraphs I already know are obsolete.
Deliverables
• A clean, ready-to-paste version of each page (Markdown or plain text with MediaWiki tags)
• A brief change log per page noting facts updated, sources added, and paragraphs removed
• A readability pass that pushes the content to roughly Grade 8–9 without sacrificing accuracy
Acceptance Criteria
• Meaning and factual intent remain intact
• All statements are verifiable with reliable citations
• No plagiarism; passes Copyscape and basic originality checks
• Consistent, neutral tone throughout, matching typical public wiki standards
If you have experience writing or editing for Wikipedia or other large documentation portals, highlight it when you respond along with one rewritten paragraph sample from any technical or factual topic.
