Virtual Work Experience - Content Writing Opportunity
Budget: £325 – £390 GBP
About us:
Springpod is the UK’s leading provider of virtual work experience. Our programmes provide students with an overview of an industry and insight into specific sectors within that industry. This content is delivered through a combination of text, video, infographics, live webinars with Q&As, quizzes and activities.
The task:
The Springpod team are looking for individuals with an interest in content marketing/writing to write content for our upcoming own-brand virtual work experience programmes in Investment Banking and Software Development.
Upon completion of the programme and after a quality check by our Head of Content, the fee of £325 (Investment Banking) or £390 (Software Development) will be paid in full. We’d estimate that the projects would take around 30 hours to complete.
Springpod can provide feedback and, once the programme is live, impact metrics (such as the rating out of ten given by students for the programme) if desired for use on portfolio's. It’s also a great chance to enter into our talent pipeline - as a fast-growing company, roles are opening regularly at Springpod.
This project would ideally suit an undergraduate looking for experience in this field, the opportunity is however open to anyone with the relevant skillset
Brief:
Using the storyboard, please provide 200-300 words per highlighted section (highlighted in bright yellow). The sample work provided (on Finance) for guidance on tone and style.
As an exception, activity briefs can be around 50-100 words; candidates must be given a clear idea of what they need to do, and a template should be provided if necessary
For quiz sections, please provide a quiz in one of the following formats:
Multiple-choice questions
True/false questions
Mix and match questions - e.g. matching terms to definitions
Please remember:
Our audience is typically 14-18 years old. We avoid jargon and sales-y language, aiming at all times to provide unbiased, concise and engaging content.
We only use quality sources - for example, the websites of government bodies, businesses, or professional bodies. Please include the source for any facts, figures or anecdotes you include.
We will run any content through a plagiarism detection tool as part of our check.
