Upload & Structure News Articles

I have a batch of text-based news articles that need to be moved into my CMS and presented in a polished, reader-friendly way. Your job is to take each article, format it so it reads like a professional news story (headlines, sub-heads, short paragraphs, pull quotes when suitable), and then assign it to the correct topical category inside the site.

I will supply the raw text files and a list of the approved topic buckets. You simply copy-edit where needed for consistency, drop the piece into the editor, apply the news-style formatting, select the right topic, and hit publish or save as draft—whatever you prefer so I can give a final check.

Please be comfortable working in a modern CMS such as WordPress, Ghost, or similar and have a sharp eye for headline hierarchy, links, and clean HTML. If you’ve handled newsroom uploads before, that’s a bonus.

Deliverables:
• Every article formatted in a clear news style
• Correct topical category selected for each piece
• All internal links, images (if referenced), and metadata left intact or added where obvious
