I have a complete manuscript that currently exists only as typewritten pages. I need every word accurately re-keyed into a single, clean Microsoft Word document so I can move forward with editing and publication.
Accuracy is my top priority—please preserve original spelling, punctuation, paragraph breaks, and page breaks exactly as they appear. If you notice obviously garbled characters produced by the old typewriter, flag them with a comment rather than silently changing them; I will review those spots. Other than that, no redesign or creative layout work is necessary—plain, consistent Word styles (normal text and headings where they exist) will do the job.
The finished deliverable is one proof-read .docx file that mirrors the original pagination. If you can turn this around quickly while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, I would love to hear from you.
