I’m preparing a brand-new travel magazine and I need someone who can take it from a blank page to a polished, publication-ready product. The job covers everything: shaping engaging copy where ideas are only sketched, refining the text I’ve already drafted, and designing every spread in a modern, sleek style that feels fresh and aspirational.
Here’s what the finished work should include:
• Editorial support – polish the pieces I supply and write missing articles, captions, and headlines so the voice stays consistent throughout.
• Page design and layout – create a clean, contemporary look for roughly 40–50 pages, using Adobe InDesign (or comparable professional software) with properly linked graphics and paragraph styles for easy future updates.
• Imagery – source or suggest high-quality travel photography that fits each destination theme and secure usage rights where needed.
• Final files – deliver a print-ready PDF (CMYK, bleed, crop marks), an InDesign package with fonts and links intact, plus a web-optimised PDF for digital readers.
I’ll provide a preliminary flatplan, brand colours, and a handful of feature drafts. You’ll guide the rest of the content, propose visual concepts, and iterate until the magazine looks and reads like something that could sit proudly on a newsstand.
