Translate Product Descriptions to Spanish
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
I’m updating an e-commerce site and want every English product description to read as if it were written natively in Spanish. You’ll receive the current texts plus a set of earlier Spanish translations that need refining; use them as a style reference while correcting any inaccuracies or tone issues.
Your mission covers three areas:
• Translate all remaining English product descriptions into natural, persuasive Spanish that matches our brand voice.
• Audit my existing Spanish snippets, improve wording where needed, and align them with the new copy for a seamless customer experience.
• Return the finished texts in the same format I supply—typically CSV or HTML blocks—ready for direct upload, complete with localized SEO keywords and a simple glossary for future updates.
Accuracy on measurements, materials, and care instructions is critical, so no machine translation shortcuts. Familiarity with CAT tools such as SDL Trados, memoQ, or Smartcat will help you keep terminology consistent across the catalog.
When you respond, let me know:
– Your e-commerce translation experience (sectors, word counts, platforms).
– Preferred CAT tool and how you manage glossaries.
– Typical turnaround per 1,000 words.
I’m aiming for polished, conversion-focused Spanish copy and a smooth hand-off into the site’s CMS. If this sounds like your specialty, I look forward to collaborating.
