Toddler Alphabet & Numbers Storybook

Job ID: 39755627

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

I’m putting together a bright, bite-sized picture book that helps little ones aged 1–3 explore their very first letters and numbers. The manuscript should feel playful yet purposeful—each spread introducing one letter or number with a short, rhythmic line that’s easy for caregivers to read aloud.

Think simple language, lots of repetition for reinforcement, and a gentle sense of discovery (e.g., “A is for apple—one juicy crunch!”). I’ll handle illustration separately, so please weave in clear scene suggestions and visual cues to guide an artist.

What I need from you:
• A complete text draft of roughly 24–28 pages (around 300–400 words total).
• A brief note under each page of what the illustration might show, keeping toddler attention spans in mind.
• A concise overview explaining how the structure supports letter and number recognition so I can share that rationale with parents and educators.

Accuracy in alphabet order and counting sequence is essential, and the tone should stay warm, encouraging, and age-appropriate throughout. If you’ve written board books or early concept stories before, even better—please bring that energy here.
