Suppress Unfavorable News Results

Job ID: 40105099

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

I need help pushing a handful of unfavourable news articles off the first pages of Google and other major search engines. My priority is to see those pieces lose visibility while fresh, authoritative, and genuinely positive material about me (or my organisation) rises to take their place.

The core approach I want to pursue is the creation and promotion of new, high-quality content—blog posts, press releases, guest articles, social profiles, videos or whatever formats you feel work best—to outrank the negative coverage. Strong on-page SEO, smart internal linking, and a clear publishing calendar will be essential, but the heart of the job is producing compelling stories that search algorithms naturally prefer.

I’m open to your guidance on topics, keywords, and distribution channels, yet every asset must be written in fluent English and meet normal editorial standards so it can be picked up organically. If you have access to reputable outlets or can secure guest-posting spots, mention that in your proposal.

Deliverables I expect:
• An initial analysis outlining current search results, target keywords, and content opportunities.
• A content roadmap with publication schedule.
• Creation and optimisation of the agreed pieces, each supplied for my approval before publishing.
• Monthly progress report showing ranking movement of both the negative articles and our new assets.

If you’ve successfully buried negative press before and can point to measurable results, I’d like to hear how you achieved it and which tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer, etc.) you rely on. Let’s restore a positive first impression in search.
