Spot the difference!!! Restaurant Website vs. Restaurant Print Menu
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for someone to help me spot the differences (examples: new items, removed items, price changes, ingredient changes and changes in the descriptions) between a bar/restaurant website and their new print menu (scanned PDF). You will create a document listing and explaining the difference. Your document can be a spreadsheet, MS Word, Google Docs - whatever major/popular format that you think will work best.
At the end of this project, your document listing the differences should allow me to quickly understand what the difference is and where that difference appears. Allowing me to quickly edit the website, that will eventually match the print menu. We are only concerned with website's 'Food' section. You can ignore the Drinks and Online Ordering sections of the website.
Client usually has a ton of errors and inconsistencies with the content that they provide to me. I'm not looking for proofreading. For the most part, I'm just need the differences spotted and documented. Though, I would ask that if you spot any major proofreading errors, that you correct them. (No point to duplicate the clients errors to the website, if there is a chance to correct it.)
Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Attention to detail is critical!
- Familiarity with restaurant menus and descriptions
- Some culinary terminology would be great!
(For example, which cheeses are title case, while other cheeses are lower case.)
- Ability to compare, contrast and identify the differences between the website and print menu.
- Clear communication! Your document listing the differences should be easy to understand.
