Spanish Translation: Educational Content About Toys & Play (Parenting + Learning, Neutral Tone)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building an educational content series about toys and play—how different types of toys support learning, creativity, language, and social skills, plus how parents and educators can think about age-appropriate, safe play without turning it into marketing or hype.
This is primarily a translation project, but I want the Spanish version to feel native, modern, and easy to read—not like direct “translated English.” The tone should be clear, warm, and neutral, avoiding heavy regional slang so it works across multiple Spanish-speaking countries.
What You’ll Translate
Short educational articles (blog-style)
Slide-friendly scripts (titles + bullet points + short captions)
Simple explainers for parents/teachers
Occasional lists (toy categories, age ranges, skill themes)
Tone: educational, calm, friendly—not childish and not overly academic.
Cultural Localization (Preferred, Not Mandatory)
Where it improves clarity, you may adapt examples so they make sense across Spanish-speaking audiences—without changing the meaning.
For example: toy categories, school/grade references, or idioms. If something doesn’t translate 1-to-1, add a brief translator note and propose alternatives.
Expected Deliverables
Spanish translation in an editable document (Word/Google Docs)
Consistency in key terms across the text (same terms used the same way)
Translator notes (brief bullets): flag cultural references, age/education terms, or idioms that need adaptation
(Optional but appreciated) Mini glossary of recurring education/toy terms for future batches
Quantity & Quality Requirements
First batch: ~2,000–4,000 words (more to follow if successful)
Must read like native Spanish suitable for broad audiences
Avoid heavy regional slang; keep it neutral/international Spanish
Keep claims responsible: no medical advice, no unsafe instructions
Clear structure, easy flow, and slide-friendly phrasing where needed
