Spanish Food Blog & Recipe Translation

Job ID: 39755909

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m preparing a series of long-form Spanish food blogs and recipe articles—each piece typically runs well over 1,000 words—and I want them rendered into lively, mouth-watering English that preserves the author’s voice and culinary flair. All material is written in standard Spanish, so no heavy localisation is required; accuracy, clarity and an ear for appetising language are the real priorities.

What I’ll pass to you
• Word or Google Doc files containing the original posts and accompanying recipes (photos and measurements included).
• Occasional notes on tone, headline style and any ingredient names that must remain untranslated.

What I need back
• Polished English versions ready for immediate publication, formatted to mirror the source layout.
• Natural-sounding ingredient lists, cooking steps and cultural anecdotes that read as if they were written by an English-speaking food writer.
• A quick explanation of any term you feel deserves a marginal note for clarity.

Acceptance criteria
1. Every section of the source text is represented without omissions.
2. Measurements (g, ml, °C) are converted to their common US equivalents (cups, oz, °F) alongside the originals when appropriate.
3. Tone remains friendly, enthusiastic and food-loving from start to finish.

If you’re passionate about gastronomy and comfortable handling lengthy culinary content, I’d love to see a short sample of your previous food-related translation work.
