Discuss the influence of society and politics on health inequality and inequity in your country. In your answer pay attention to the following elements: a) Present the current (or recent) evidence for inequalities in health outcomes in your country in relation to: EITHER Coronary Heart Disease OR HIV/AIDS b) Discuss whether these differences in outcome are “unfair”, presenting evidence to support your argument c) Describe the societal influences on the health condition you have chosen and present the evidence for how much these account for the inequalities in outcomes observed d) List the policies that exist in your country to address these inequalities.
