Skilled LinkedIn Content Writer Needed (Fulltime, Remote)
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
About Uptown Creation :
Uptown Creation helps B2B companies turn LinkedIn into a top revenue channel through outbound messaging and organic content (without using bots or automation).
Founded in 2016, we've booked thousands of meetings for clients by combining precise targeting, thoughtful messaging, and consistent thought leadership. We're a fully remote team serving sales leaders, executives, and founders at $3-50M+ companies who already believe in LinkedIn and want a partner to run it the right way.
What "the right way" means to us:
Thought leadership that builds authority - not product pitches disguised as posts
Real engagement from people in our client's ICP - not viral posts
Content that sounds like the founder actually wrote it - not an AI template factory
We're small, profitable, and growing. No outside funding, no bloated team, no bureaucracy. Just good work for good clients.
The Role:
We're hiring a LinkedIn Content Writer to turn client content interviews, existing assets, and raw ideas into high-performing LinkedIn posts that. Your work directly impacts meetings booked and revenue generated for our clients.
This is a full-time, remote position. We're looking for someone who can work independently, hit deadlines without reminders, and genuinely cares about the craft of writing.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation
-Write 12 LinkedIn posts per month per client (typically Mon/Wed/Fri) that stop the scroll, build authority, and sound like the client wrote them.
-Watch recorded content interviews, use transcripts and AI workflows to generate drafts, then edit into sharp, engaging posts.
-Develop each client's voice by reviewing their ICP, offer, and defining their content pillars (Personal, Professional, Subject Matter Expertise).
Content Operations
-Maintain a 2-week content buffer per client using ClickUp and Google Docs.
-Schedule approved posts on LinkedIn and verify formatting before they go live.
-Document and maintain style guides for each client (tone, topics, preferences). Update as you learn what works.
Performance & Collaboration
-Track post performance (impressions, comments, saves) and surface insights to Client Success Managers.
-Suggest angles, follow-up questions, and topics to improve future content interviews.
-Incorporate client feedback quickly and professionally.
Requirements:
-2+ years writing B2B content (LinkedIn, blogs, or newsletters) with portfolio samples.
-Experience writing for founders and executives - you can simplify complex ideas without dumbing them down.
-Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate drafting while understanding that AI output requires heavy editing.
-Strong editing instincts: tightening hooks, improving structure, cutting fluff.
-Reliable and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple clients and hit deadlines without being chased.
-Available for remote work with at least 3-4 hours overlap with US business hours.
-Demonstrable curiosity and growth mindset - willing to learn new industries and business models quickly.
-Eagerness to do the necessary work: taking notes, revising drafts, maintaining style guides, updating project management tools.
-Fluent written and spoken English
Bonus Qualifications:
-Prior experience at a LinkedIn marketing agency
-Track record of LinkedIn ghostwriting
Results:
Content Quality
Consistently produce posts that match client voice, require minimal revisions, and drive measurable engagement. Target: less than 20% of posts require more than one round of client feedback.
Operational Excellence
Maintain a 2-week content buffer across all assigned clients with 95%+ on-time delivery. Style guides documented and current for every account.
Internal Collaboration
Earn an internal CSM satisfaction score of 8/10 or higher on quality, voice match, and reliability within 90 days.
Continuous Improvement
Surface performance insights and content recommendations that improve interview quality and post performance over time.
Uptown Core Values: Our values aren't wall art. They're how we operate daily - and how we evaluate fit.
Craftsmanship
You take pride in the work itself, not just completing tasks. Rushing to check boxes isn't in your nature. You edit your own work before anyone asks.
Ownership
When something goes wrong, you fix it. When you need help, you ask. No finger-pointing, no excuses, no waiting to be told what to do. You manage your clients and deadlines like they're your own business.
Clear Communication
We're remote and async. That only works when everyone writes clearly, responds promptly, and flags problems early. You over-communicate rather than leave people guessing.
Continuous Improvement
What worked last month might not work next month. You study what's performing, stay curious about the platform, and bring ideas - not just execute tasks handed to you.
Who Shouldn't Apply
-You need detailed instructions for every task
-You think AI can do 90% of the work and you just need to light editing
-You're looking for a "chill" remote job with minimal accountability
-You don't actually enjoy writing - you just fell into content work
-Constructive feedback feels like personal criticism
How We Hire:
Step 1: Short screening questions + portfolio review
Step 2: Paid test project - we'll share a real transcript and have you create 3 posts using our framework
Step 3: Interview with our team to discuss fit, communication style, and how you work
Location:
-Fully Remote. Must have reliable internet and 3-4 hours daily overlap with US business hours (Central Time Zone preferred).
