Seeking Creatively Witty Content /Sales/Transactional Email Writer for Hemp Wellness Startup
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are seeking a creative, witty, talented and motivated Marketing Content Writer to join our team. As a Marketing Content Writer, you will play a key role in developing and executing our highly specialized content in the field of hemp CBD and overall wellness (search engine optimization (SEO) strategies a plus)
You will work closely with the owner and interim consultant to understand our products, writing-style, voice, brand guidelines, and customers to create effective converting sales emails, updates, and newsletters for the duration of 2023.
You will also "refresh" and update all current transactional emails both verbally and visually.
Not seeking boring standard dry sales emails. We are seeking someone who can deliver our message of wellness with professionalism and a bunch of witty sass!
You will be provided with our brand guidelines and writing style as a guideline.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, English, Communications, Business or another similar field or equivalent work experience.
Master’s degree a plus,
Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio,
Experience in developing and executing SEO campaigns,
Experience in working with hemp/cbd/cannabis projects, startups, wellness,
Native English.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page optimization and link building.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and HTML.
Some technical familiarity in working with platforms and software systems preferred
Industry and business trend analysis skills preferred.
Knowledge of the hemp/CBD/cannabis insurance industry is a plus
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work remote
Responsibilities
Write and edit high-quality, SEO-friendly content for our emails that will correlate directly with our social media calendar for the duration of 2023. (Articles, emails and text copy).
Ensure tone and style, across all mediums, are consistent with brand standards and brand voice.
Drive consistency through a content roadmap and calendar, and develop a strong brand presence
Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform our content strategy.
Collaborate with owner and consultant on social media and 2023 sales and marketing calendar in order to construct new strategies and content planning.
Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices.
Place of work:
100% remote, USA based.
