Scanned JPGs to Formatted Word
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have several hundred JPG scans of typed pages that I need transformed into one clean, well-organized Microsoft Word document. Each page must be re-typed or accurately OCR-converted, then double-checked so that headings, paragraphs, and spacing follow the original layout closely—I only need a moderate level of fidelity, so minor visual differences are acceptable as long as the meaning and flow remain intact.
Please keep the original fonts and styling wherever they appear in the scans. Any embedded charts or pictures should be snipped out of the JPGs and inserted in their exact spots in the Word file. There are no handwritten notes to worry about, so the task is strictly text and embedded images.
Before delivery, proofread the entire document for spelling, missing words, and formatting slips. The final hand-off is a single, ready-to-use .docx file that mirrors the source material in structure and appearance without stray artifacts or inconsistencies.
