SEO-Driven Parenting & Lifestyle Blog website

I am starting a parenting and lifestyle blog for India and want to build it step by step with a focus on SEO, traffic, and future earnings (ads + affiliate).

Here is the initial scope of work:

1. Website Setup (Basic & Cost-Effective)

* Set up WordPress on my hosting
* Install a lightweight theme (Astra or GeneratePress)
* Create essential pages: Home, Blog, About, Contact, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer
* Set up navigation menu and clean layout
* Ensure mobile-friendly design
2. SEO Setup

* Install and configure Rank Math or Yoast SEO
* Basic on-page SEO settings (titles, meta descriptions, sitemap)
* Connect website to Google Search Console and Google Analytics

Analytics

3. Keyword Research (Low Competition – India Focus)

* Find 20–30 low competition keywords in parenting/lifestyle niche
* Focus on long-tail keywords (India-specific topics)
* Group keywords into content clusters

4. Content Plan

* Create a list of 20 blog topics based on selected keywords
* Mix of:

* Problem-solving parenting topics
* Lifestyle for parents
* Affiliate/product-based posts
5. Blog Writing (Test Phase)

* Write 5 SEO-optimized articles (1000–1500 words each)
* Use proper headings (H1, H2, H3)
* Include internal linking where possible
* Content must be original and plagiarism-free

6. Basic On-Page Optimization

* Optimize each article for SEO
* Add meta titles and descriptions
* Use proper keyword placement

7. Monetization Preparation (Basic)

* Structure website for future Google AdSense approval
* Suggest where to place ads later
* Basic idea for affiliate content structure

Goal:

* Build a clean, SEO-ready blog
* Publish initial content to start ranking on Google
* Keep everything simple and budget-friendly
